Resposibilities of Author

NextGen Chemical Engineering Journal (NGCEJ) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication misconduct. Authors submitting to NGCEJ must adhere to the following ethical principles.

1. Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that:

Submitted manuscripts are original works.

The work has not been published previously.

The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.

Proper citation and acknowledgment are provided for all sources used.

All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software.

Manuscripts with significant similarity or plagiarism will be rejected immediately.

2. Multiple or Concurrent Submission

Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.

Duplicate submission or publication is considered unethical and will result in rejection or retraction.

3. Authorship Criteria

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to:

Study conception and design

Data collection or analysis

Manuscript drafting or revision

Final approval of the version to be published

All listed authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.

Individuals who contributed but do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged properly.

4. Data Integrity and Fabrication

Authors must:

Present accurate and honest data.

Avoid data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation.

Retain raw data and provide it if requested by the editorial board.

Any form of data manipulation is considered serious ethical misconduct.

5. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that may influence the research results.

If no conflict exists, authors should state:

"The authors declare no conflict of interest."

6. Acknowledgment of Sources

Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.

All references must be accurately cited in the manuscript.

7. Ethical Approval (If Applicable)

For research involving:

Human participants

Animal studies

Clinical experiments

Authors must provide:

Ethical approval from an appropriate ethics committee

Approval reference number (if applicable)

Confirmation of informed consent (for human subjects)

8. Corrections and Retractions

If authors discover a significant error in their published work, they must promptly notify the journal editor and cooperate to correct or retract the paper if necessary.

9. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage Disclosure

If AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, AI-based data tools) were used in preparing the manuscript:

Authors must disclose this in the manuscript.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Authors remain fully responsible for the content.

10. Compliance with Journal Policies

By submitting a manuscript to NGCEJ, authors confirm that:

They agree to follow all journal policies.

They comply with ethical standards.

They accept editorial and peer review decisions.
