Plagiarism in any form is considered unethical publishing behavior and is strictly prohibited.
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
Copying text, data, figures, or ideas from other sources without proper citation.
Presenting another author’s work as one’s own.
Self-plagiarism (reuse of previously published work without disclosure).
Improper paraphrasing or close imitation of previously published material.
Use of AI-generated or third-party content without acknowledgment when applicable.
All manuscripts submitted to NGCEJ undergo plagiarism screening using recognized similarity-checking software before peer review.
Acceptable similarity index: ≤ 15% overall
Similarity from a single source should normally be ≤ 3%
References, methodology descriptions, and common technical phrases may be excluded during evaluation.
Manuscripts exceeding acceptable limits may be returned to authors for revision or rejected.
If plagiarism is detected:
Before Publication
Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
Authors may be asked for clarification or revision.
Temporary submission ban may be applied.
After Publication
Article retraction.
Publication of a retraction notice.
Notification to authors’ institutions if necessary.
NGCEJ follows internationally accepted publication ethics guidelines aligned with best practices recommended by academic publishing organizations.
By submitting a manuscript to NGCEJ, authors confirm that:
The work is original.
Proper acknowledgment of sources has been made.
The manuscript complies with NGCEJ ethical policies.
